A Life of True Spiritual Integrity

Like spiritual maturation, integrity is built slowly over a lifetime. It is a precious thing - difficult to build and yet easy to tear down. As faithful followers of Jesus Christ, we are to seek to live each day with the discipline of honesty and faith. When we do, at least two things happen: integrity becomes a habit, and God blesses us because of our obedience to Him.

The Inherit Danger of Apologetics

What matters is understanding that there are simply those who are critical of the Restored Gospel where they do not want to be challenged. And so, they may respond from an attitude and behavior that appears to be insulting and attacking. Being mindful of such situations requires that we maintain an attitude of humility and be careful as to not fall into an attitude of superiority. Our duty is to provide the best sound and reasonable explanation of how the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true and stands on the witness and testimony of the Holy Scriptures and the teachings of the Prophets and Apostles.

Neighbors in Need

Today, you may encounter someone who needs a word of encouragement or a pat on the back or a helping hand or a simple and yet heartfelt prayer. And if you do not extend the hand of fellowship to those around you - who will? If you do not take the time to understand the needs of your neighbors, who will?

We are all Role Models

Ask yourself this question: Are you the type of person that you are wanting to emulate? If so, congratulations. However, if certain aspects of your attitude and behavior stand for improvement, the best day to begin is today.

Up for the Challenge

Our Heavenly Father's hand uplifts us when we turn our hearts and prayers toward Him. Will you count yourself among the saints? Will you personally accept the invitation to experience the peace of Christ and wear the armor of righteousness? Are you willing to face the temptations, snares, and distractions of our dangerous world?
